  3. NOTES:  This is a dual NAM hand held unit.
  4.         The ESN prefix is 136 decimal & 88 hex.

  8. NAM PROGRAMING:
  9.  
  10. 1.  This unit requires a programing adaptor, part number EB-WWG1036A, if you
  11.     do not have one try the following:
  12.  
  13. Locate the expansion connector on the bottom of the phone, remove the plastic
  14. cover if installed.  Look at the connector with the small round antenna
  15. connector to the right (keypad facing up).  There are four pins on each side
  16. (top and bottom) of the connector, the left bottom pin and right bottom pin
  17. must be shorted together.  Use a bent paper clip to do this, the phone will
  18. wake up as soon as the clip makes contact.  The clip must be kept in place
  19. during programing.  Looking at the bottom of the phone:

  32. 2.  Phone will automatically power up.
  33.  
  34. 3.  Enter * 0 0 0 0 #, phone will display "MAINT MODE", you are now in
  35.     maintenance mode.
  36.  
  37. 4.  Enter * 1 SND for NAM 1, or * 2 SND for NAM 2.  Phone will display "NAM 1
  38.     MODE" or "NAM 2 MODE".  Note that NAM 2 has entries 01 through 06 only.

  40. 5.  Each data entry can be looked at by pressing RCL followed by the
  41.     location (step) number below.
  42.  
  43. 6.  To store new data enter the value, press STO followed by the location
  44.     (step) number below.  For example to enter a system ID of 00031 enter
  45.     00031 STO 01.  Data can be entered or reviewed in any order.
  46.  
  47. 7.  At any time press STO * * to complete programing and return to
  48.     maintenance mode.
  49.  
  50. 8.  At any time press STO # # to ABORT programing and return to maintenance
  51.     mode.

  53. 9.  Press * 4 SND to exit maintenance mode.

  118. 1.  Power up phone as above.

  120. 2.  Enter * 0 0 0 0 #.

  124. 4.  Press 1 1 SND, phone will display decimal ESN, note that the leading
  125.     "1" of the 136 ESN prefix will be omitted as the phone only has a ten
  126.     digit display capacity.

  128. LOCK: F 3 2 = Dial Lock, F 3 1 = Send lock, F 3 0 = Full lock

  130. UNLOCK: Enter two to four digit code.
